My Chess Story

I learned how to play chess when I was in grade school. My friends always checkmate me in 3 moves. My parents bought me a chess board so that I can play and practice well. So, when I was in high school I joined the chess club and their I improve my skills. I read chess books - openings, middle game, end game. tips and tricks, strategies, puzzle game, and lot of more. During school chess tournaments I won a 2nd place with certificate, ribbon, and bronze medal. Then I became chess varsity player in college. I met lot of friends in chess and they are nice and fun to be with. Once a year, we did outing for get together or bonding. I'm very thankful to God that He gave me talents in playing chess - it help me support my tuition and fees, sharpened my mind, learns how to deal with success and failures, win more friends, and a lot of things.
